In the 2011 issue of Vigiliae Christianae, Mark DelCogliano challenged my attribution of the Homoiousian response to the Dated Creed of summer 359 to Basil of Ancyra. In this article, I confirm Basil’s authorship with new philological and stylistic evidence and compare Basil’s role with that of George of Laodicea, the other main figure of the Homoiousian party, which md considered as the primary author of the document.
