'Lost in Translation': la désignation des chefs dans le Dodekapropheton <jats:sec><jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>In this paper, an attempt is made to examine the process of deformation of the Hebrew original in the Greek version—by loss or by gain of meaning. The corpus is limited to the Twelve Prophets and the semantic field concerns the designation of chiefs or elites in the biblical world.
