ANNOUNCEMENT 7TH COLLOQUIUM CRUSTACEA DECAPODA MEDITERRANEA September 6-9, 1999 The seventh meeting of this well known series is due at Lisbon, Portugal, from 6 to 9 September 1999 and will be hosted by the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon. It will include, i.a., the Second Crustacean Larval Conference. Contributions in all aspects of decapod crustacean research will be welcome, including sys- tematics, phylogeny, biogeography, ecology, ethology, reproduction, physiology, fisheries, and aquaculture. Though an obvious emphasis will be on the Mediterranean, contributions covering other areas are invited as well. Contributions will include both oral communications and posters. The language will be English, but presentations in French are also possible. Note that the orga- nizers are making special efforts to facilitate participation of scientists from African and eastern European countries. Those interested should contact: Dr. J.
