TORBENELLA , A REPLACEMENT NAME FOR TORBENIA BABA, 2005 (DECAPODA, GALATHEIDAE) PREOCCUPIED BY TORBENIA LIBERT, 2000 (INSECTA, LEPIDOPTERA, LYCAENIDAE) BY KEIJI BABA 1 ) Kumamoto University, Faculty of Education, 2-40-1 Kurokami, Kumamoto 860-8555, Japan Baba (2005) established a genus Torbenia for two galatheid species, with type species Torbenia orbis Baba, 2005. Shortly after this publication, Torben B. Larsen, London, notified me that the name had been preoccupied by the lepidopteran genus Torbenia Libert, 2000. In accordance with Article 60 of the International Code of Zoological Nomen- clature (1999), I propose to replace the preoccupied galatheid name, which was dedicated to Torben Wolff, Copenhagen, deputy leader of the Galathea Expedi- tion, by Torbenella . The gender of the genus is feminine. The genus now contains three species: Torbenella orbis (Baba, 2005) from the Kei and Norfolk Islands, T. calvata (Macpherson, 2006) [originally Torbenia calvata Macpherson, 2006] from New Caledonia, and T. insolita (Macpherson, 2004) [originally Agononida insolita Macpherson, 2004] from New Caledonia.
