The presence of undifferentiated and reproductive females shows that the year cycle of Porcellionides pruinosus is characterized by a reproduction period followed by a sexual rest. Reproduction usually begins in March/April and continues until October. The fecundity and fertility values show a great variation in the number of eggs or embryos contained in the marsupium. This number is correlated with the length of the reproductive female. The sex- ratio underwent uctuations throughout the sampling period, but always remained skewed in favour of females.
