Song playback has been widely used for the past three decades in order to elicit changes of behaviour patterns among Higher Vertebrates and to study the problems of species-specific recognition in relation to taking possession of a territory, keeping sexual competitors at a distance, attrac- ting sexual http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Behaviour Brill
