Composition of Transnational Capital Flow (TCF) The flow of financial resources from developed to developing countries took many forms (see Table 1). It includes Official Development Assistance (ODA), provided by developed country (DC) governments and official multilateral agencies with the promotion of economic development and welfare of less developed countries (LDCs) as the main objective. However, since most of ODA is concentrated in physical and social infrastructural improvements of the host countries, with restricted amount going into projects directly related to promotion of economic activities and there is lack of good data on its urban-rural split, the impact of ODA on urbanization of the host country is yet little known.
