Synthesis and study of phenolsfurfural resin from Egyptian cotton straw

Synthesis and study of phenolsfurfural resin from Egyptian cotton straw Phenolsfurfural resin analogous to novolake type phenolformaldehyde was obtained from condensation reaction between cotton straw powder and phenolic product in presence of an inorganic acid. The optimum conditions for resin formation were confermed by infrared spectra and its characteristics were determined. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Pigment & Resin Technology Emerald Publishing
