Abstract
Points out how the philosophy of cybernetics may be helpful for the future of artificial intelligence AI. Starts with the notion of continuous AI and discusses its relationship with metaknowledge namely, knowledge about knowledge. The conjecture is that metaknowledge can capture a kind of continuity. Also summarizes the use of metaknowledge in knowledgebased systems.
