Good value: health information and the MSLS librarian <jats:sec> <jats:title content-type="abstract-subheading">Purpose</jats:title> <jats:p>The purpose of this paper is to examine the value of the MSLS degree in health sciences library settings.</jats:p> </jats:sec> <jats:sec> <jats:title content-type="abstract-subheading">Design/methodology/approach</jats:title> <jats:p>This is a discourse and preliminary analysis supported with research from the literature.</jats:p> </jats:sec> <jats:sec> <jats:title content-type="abstract-subheading">Findings</jats:title> <jats:p>The value of the MSLS degree in the health sciences library setting is well recognized.
