A Strategic Planning Model Structuring and Analysing via the Analytic Hierarchy Process Since its introduction in the mid1970s, SaatysAnalytic Hierarchy Process AHP has beenapplied to a variety of decision problems. A newarea of application is introduced in this article. Wepresent here the application of the AHP to astrategic planning problem as faced by one localAnn Arbor business man. Through an interviewingprocess and analysis of his operation the modelwas built and the data was collected.
