Focus groups were conducted from June-August 2016. Purposive and snowball sampling yielded a sample size of 31. Five focus groups were conducted, and analysis used Grounded Theory. Four themes emerged: 1) low expectations of a welcoming environment, 2) the importance of being out, 3) need for LGBT-specific services, and 4) how to create inclusive services. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Journal Of Gerontological Social Work Taylor & Francis
