Optically Directed Mesoscale Assembly and Patterning of Electrically Conductive Organic–Inorganic Hybrid Structures

Optically Directed Mesoscale Assembly and Patterning of Electrically Conductive Organic–Inorganic... Directed colloidal synthesis of conductive organic–inorganic hybrid mesoscale structures is reported. The technique is simple but allows hierarchical assembly and 2D patterning of materials. A focused laser spot is used to direct the colloidal assembly of nanoparticles into electrically conductive organic–inorganic hybrid mesoscale filaments with arbitrary permanent patterns on a glass surface. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Advanced Materials Wiley

Abstract

Directed colloidal synthesis of conductive organic–inorganic hybrid mesoscale structures is reported. The technique is simple but allows hierarchical assembly and 2D patterning of materials. A focused laser spot is used to direct the colloidal assembly of nanoparticles into electrically conductive organic–inorganic hybrid mesoscale filaments with arbitrary permanent patterns on a glass surface.
