ARKANSAS Bill to Change Medical Practice Act. —A bill has been introduced into the state legislature by Representative Lewis which provides for a board of medical examiners to be composed of four regular physicians, two eclectics and one homeopath. All applicants for license would be graduates of a "legally incorporated medical college or institution" who made a general average in their studies of at least 75 per cent, and received not less than 50 per cent, in any subject. CALIFORNIA Health Officers Appointed. —Dr. Earnest Dozier, Redding, has been appointed health officer of Shasta County, succeeding Dr.
