Diphtheritic Paralysis.
Abstract
— Dr. W. Rozenzweig, in Can. Practitioner, reports four cases of paralysis of the soft palate after diphtheria, occurring in children of from 6 to 12 years old, in which a rapid cure was effected by the hypodermic use of strychnine. The doses were from 2 to 4½ ♏ of a 1 per cent, solution, and were injected into the neck.
