Computed tomography in the evaluation of patients with surgical clips.Surgery, gynecology & obstetrics, 151 4
Abstract • Computed tomography (CT) is of value in a great number of clinical settings, but interpretation can be hampered by artifacts produced by surgical clips. Clips made of titanium, while visible on plain roentgenograms and CT, do not produce scatter artifacts that interfere with radiologic interpretation. (Arch Surg 1982;117:978-979) References 1.
