The object of the following section is to present in optical form the various types of osseous lesions of congenital syphilis as shown by the x-rays for the benefit of roentgenologists and clinicians who may not appreciate the diagnostic possibilities of the x-rays in this disease. This collection includes the case reports and roentgenograms of forty-five infants from 28 days to 22 months of age. Of these, five were not over 1 month of age, eighteen were between 1 and 2 months; seven between 2 and 3 months and five between 3 and 4 months. Thus, thirty-five of the forty-four patients were not over 4 months of age. The case reports have been arranged according to age. In two of these cases the roentgenogram revealed the diagnosis before a positive serologic reaction had been obtained.
