Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Patients With Low-Tension Glaucoma-Reply Abstract In reply We are grateful for the kind comments from Dr Lee regarding our article "Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Patients with Low-Tension Glaucoma." We believe he raises an important question regarding the incidence of migraine in our study and control populations. When we originally examined this question we found that one patient in each group had a history of migraine. The prevalence was so low that we did not report it in our article. We want to thank Dr Lee, however, for raising the question.The association of migraine (vasospasm) in patients with low-tension glaucoma is an important one. Indeed, further evidence regarding vasospasm in low-tension glaucoma includes the potential usefulness of calcium channel blockers in preventing visual function and neural rim loss,1 although this has been controversial; magnified response to cold-water testing in some patients with low-tension glaucoma2; and the ease of induced vasospasm3 in patients References 1.
