Snyder, MD, PhD, Named Head of Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Arizona. —Robert W. Snyder, MD, PhD, has been appointed head of the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Arizona, Tucson. Dr Snyder had been acting head since July 1989. He completed his residency and fellowship training in cornea and external disease at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Three new faculty members will be joining Dr Snyder in the department of ophthalmology: Theresa Kramer, MD; Joseph Miller, MD; and Millicent Palmer, MD. Dr Kramer completed her fellowship in ocular pathology at Emory University, Atlanta, Ga; Dr Miller received his fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology from the Wilmer Eye Institute, Baltimore, Md; and Dr Palmer did her fellowship in cornea and external disease at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
