Abstract Appointements. —Three new members were appointed to the National Advisory Eye Council of the National Eye Institute: Frederick C. Blodi, MD, professor and head, Department of Ophthalmology, University of Iowa; J. M. Enoch, PhD, dean of the School of Optometry, University of California, Berkeley; and Gordon Gund. Mr Gund is a leader in corporate finance and a victim of retinitis pigmentosa.
