Design of a Wide-Angle Ophthalmoscope

Design of a Wide-Angle Ophthalmoscope Abstract A prototype of a wide-angle ophthalmoscope that will allow viewing the entire retina in a single image is described. The principles determining the design of a wide-angle ophthalmoscope are discussed. Photographs are presented, taken in experimental animals, of the aerial image of the fundus as visualized with this instrument. References 1.
