Oftalmologia especial teorica y clinica

Oftalmologia especial teorica y clinica This article is only available in the PDF format. Download the PDF to view the article, as well as its associated figures and tables. Abstract This book is in a sense a condensation and reorganization of the bulk of the author's writings for over half a century. It is a complete, moderately advanced book covering practically all phases of the theory and practice of ophthalmology. In the subject matter the medical, surgical, and optical branches of ophthalmology are well proportioned. While the book is intended mainly for physicians entering the specialty of ophthalmology, it is sufficiently advanced and comprehensive to be of value to those already in practice. The author has a simple, didactic style, which is mirrored in clarity of expression and strict, logical thinking. One may or may not agree with all his ideas, e. g., his views on the cause and classification of glaucoma, which differ from those generally given, or his evaluation of the various cataract operations and the generally accepted operative techniques. But one knows exactly what one can agree http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png A.M.A. Archives of Ophthalmology American Medical Association
