Abstract GENERAL The New York 1939 World's Fair Exhibit on the Conservation of Vision. —The advisory committee on medicine and public health of the New York World's Fair, of which Dr. Louis I. Dublin and Dr. Victor Heiser are members of the executive committee, appointed a committee to prepare an exhibit on the conservation of vision. Dr. John M. Wheeler was selected as chairman. On his death, Dr. Daniel B. Kirby was asked to assume his duties for the organization of the exhibit. The members of the committee are: Dr. Conrad Berens; Mr. Lewis Carris, National Society for the Prevention of Blindness ; Mr. Homer N. Calver, director of medical exhibits, New York World's Fair ; Dr. John Evans ; Dr. M. E. Frampton, principal, New York Institute for the Education of the Blind ; Dr. Bruno Gebhard, technical consultant ; Dr. LeGrand Hardy ; Miss Grace S. Harper, New York State Commission for the Blind ; Mr.
