One was clinically and biochemically typical of hypokalemic periodic paralysis, and the other, entirely appropriate for the diagnosis of MS, with a number of separate events related to lesions scattered in the CNS.The question posed by Toglia and colleagues, as to whether the association of these disorders was meaningful or simply coincidental, was also raised by us. Although there are now two cases on record, it still seems a little premature to make a References 1.
