Abstract • Patients with increased circulating levels of adrenocorticosteroids or with diabetes mellitus are described as having a predilection for skin tags. These cutaneous outgrowths are usually filiform papules in the axillae and on the neck or eyelids. I saw the unusual development of broad-based lipofibromas on the legs of a diabetic woman with Cushing's syndrome. These tumors were multiple, soft, sessile, and hyperpigmented.
