Methotrexate for the Treatment of Mucha-Habermann Disease

Methotrexate for the Treatment of Mucha-Habermann Disease Abstract Six patients who had pityriasis lichenoides et varioliformis acuta (Mucha-Habermann disease) were treated with low dosages of orally administered methotrexate. All showed rapid clearing while they received therapy with methotrexate, but recurrences were common after therapy was discontinued. We believe this to be the first report of a series of patients having this disease who were treated with methotrexate. References 1.
