Photodermatitis From Dibromsalan Abstract Two cases of photodermatitis from dibromsalan (4′,5 dibromosalicylanilide), an ingredient of a popular proprietary soap, are reported. The reaction is photoallergic in type. In the cases studied, tribromsalan (3,4′,5 tribromosalicylanilide) was not a photosensitizer. References 1.
