News and Notes Abstract Annual Report by Editor ofArchives of DermatologyPresented at Meeting of American Dermatologic Association, Feb 25-March 2, 1965, Boca Raton, Fla.— The present Archives of Dermatology evolves from the original Journal of Cutaneous and Venereal Diseases (1882), which became the Journal of Cutaneous and Genito-Urinary Diseases (1887), and then the Journal of Cutaneous Diseases Including Syphilis (1903). It became the official organ of the American Dermatological Association (1912) and was owned and published under this Association's auspices until 1919. Through negotiations conducted by William A. Pusey, MD, it was taken over by the American Medical Association (1920) and renamed the Archives of Dermatology and Syphilology. It became the Archives of Dermatology in January, 1955. Its previous chief editors have been William A. Pusey, MD, Howard Fox, MD, Paul A. O'Leary, MD, Herbert Rattner, MD, and Harvey Blank, MD.In 1964 we processed 526 items of material.
