Abstract A Case for Diagnosis (Eruption Due to Phenolphthalein? Mycosis Fungoides?). Presented by Dr. Fred Wise. K. T., a woman aged 46, born in the United States, single, a secretary, has had the condition for which she is presented for one year. She is under the care of Dr. Charles Rein. The eruption began as a small lichenified patch of eczema in the right axilla. This disappeared with a few fractional doses (75 roentgens) of infiltrated radiation. There is a generalized eruption consisting of red to reddish-brown patches; it is most marked on the right side of the forehead, on the sides of the neck, in both axillae, on the back, on both flanks and on the inner aspects of the thighs. The lesions are irregular in outline and vary in size; some are the size of a small coin, and the largest involves almost the entire back.
