June 2002 The Cleveland Clinic Foundation Dermatopathology Workshop will be held on October 5, 2002, at the CCF Lerner Research Institute, Cleveland, Ohio. The European Confederation of Telemedical Organizations in Dermatology will hold its Third European Symposium on Teledermatology in Graz, Austria, on November 8 and 9, 2002. Teledermatology holds great potential for revolutionizing the delivery of dermatologic services, with benefits to physicians and patients alike. The Third European Symposium on Teledermatology will bring together all colleagues interested in teledermatology to discuss recent technologies, clinical studies, patients' and investigators' viewpoints, cost-effectiveness, security, and legal aspects as well as teleteaching. The primary audience is federal dermatologists and residents but the course is open to civilian dermatologists and residents with interest or experience in humanitarian assistance. The course is ideal for people who might volunteer to work with organizations that provide medical or humanitarian assistance and disaster relief. The course is offered under the auspices of the Department of Dermatology, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, and the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, and up to 18 hours of Level I CME will be awarded. The course has a limited enrollment.
