The decay rates of ω → 3 π , η → π + π - γ , X 0 → π + π - γ , η → π 0 γ γ , and X 0 → π 0 γ γ are calculated using a chiral Lagrangian model suggested previously. The effects of the contact interaction and the σ -pole terms in these decay modes are studied in detail.
