This paper describes a fast algorithm for calculation of traces of Dirac's gamma-matrices proposed by Kennedy and Cvitanovich. Comparison with standard REDUCE calculations shows that Kennedy-Cvitanovich algorithm is preferable when space-time dimension exceeds 4.
This paper deals with the computation of syzygies for a set of polynomials simultaneously with the computation of a Gröbner basis for these polynomials. It is shown that a criterion to avoid unneccessary reductions during the Gröbner basis algorithm can also be used in this case.
