The globalised and dynamic economy in which current business activity takes place requires business decision makers to obtain the best management information in order to be successful in their business strategies. Enterprise resource planning (ERP) is one of the key technological solutions to obtain this valuable management information, based on the unification of the data that circulates through the different administrative processes of the company, and thus guaranteeing the coherence and integrity of the information. One of the most important decisions of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) is the choice of the most suitable ERP for them, on which the success of the implementation of the ERP and the benefits obtained from its use depend to a great extent. This research paper proposes the ERP-SSM scientific methodology to guide SMEs in the process of choosing the most appropriate ERP in each case.

This study investigates the influence of market turbulence, technological turbulence, competitive intensity, data-driven culture, and resource accessibility on the use of business intelligence and analytics technology in startup companies in Indonesia. The study was conducted through a survey and received 44 responses from startup companies. The results show that technological turbulence and a data-driven culture are driving factors in the use of business intelligence and analytics technology as a strategic tool for startup companies. These empirical findings enrich the study of the driving factors for business intelligence and analytics technology usage in addition to the TOE framework, i.e., based on the strategic management framework, which takes perspective from the external and internal environment. This study concludes two managerial implications, emphasising the importance of a data-driven culture and the need to carefully monitor technological turbulence in an effort to encourage business intelligence and analytics technology usage as a strategic tool for startups.

The present study is an attempt to empirically examine the influence of three broad components of technology, organisation, and environment, i.e., the TOE model on social media adoption by small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs) in Nigeria. The study equally considers organisational business strategies that comprise cost and differentiation strategies as moderating variables in the proposed model. Findings revealed that technological, organisational, and environmental factors positively influence social media adoption by SMEs in Nigeria. Further, business strategy was equally found to moderate the relationship between social media adoption and SMEs performance. Both the theoretical and practical contributions of the paper were highlighted.

This study examines the impact of employee characteristics on intrapreneurial behaviour and innovative performance in Tunisian technology firms. Data was collected through a structured questionnaire and used in linear regression and ANOVA techniques. The results show a positive association between intrapreneurial behaviour and innovation capacity. Employee characteristics significantly influence the relationships between independent variables (innovation, proactivity, risk-taking, networking, and opportunity recognition) and dependent variables (innovative performance). This research provides valuable insights for organisations aiming to enhance their innovation capabilities by effectively utilising employee characteristics and cultivating an intrapreneurial culture.
