Let
$$ {\user1{\mathcal{F}}}
$$
be a class of groups. A subgroup H of a group G is called
$$ {\user1{\mathcal{F}}}
$$
-s-supplemented in G, if there exists a subgroup K of G such that G = HK and K/K ∩ H
G
belongs to
$$ {\user1{\mathcal{F}}}
$$
where H
G
is the maximal normal subgroup of G which is contained in H. The main purpose of this paper is to study some subgroups of Fitting subgroup and generalized Fitting subgroup
$$ {\user1{\mathcal{F}}}
$$
-s-supplemented and some new criterions of p-nilpotency of finite groups are obtained.
Effects of partial slip on the steady Von Kármán flow and heat transfer of a non-Newtonian fluidSahoo, Bikash; Sharma, H.
doi: 10.1007/s00574-007-0063-0pmid: N/A
The steady Von Kármán flow and heat transfer of a non-Newtonian fluid is extended to the case where the disk surface admits partial slip. The constitutive equation of the non-Newtonian fluid is modeled by that for a Reiner-Rivlin fluid. The momentum equations give rise to highly nonlinear boundary value problem. Numerical solutions for the governing nonlinear equations are obtained over the entire range of the physical parameters. The effects of slip and non-Newtonian fluid characteristics on the velocity and temperature fields have been discussed in detail and shown graphically.

In this paper, we establish the generalized Hyers–Ulam–Rassias stability of C*-ternary ring homomorphisms associated to the Trif functional equation
$$
d \cdot C^{{l - 2}}_{{d - 2}} f{\left( {\frac{{x_{1} + \cdots + x_{d} }}
{d}} \right)} + C^{{l - 2}}_{{d - 2}} {\sum\limits_{j = 1}^d {f{\left( {x_{j} } \right)} = l \cdot {\sum\limits_{1 \leqslant j_{1} < \cdots < j_{l} \leqslant d} {f{\left( {\frac{{x_{{j_{1} }} + \cdots + x_{{j_{l} }} }}
{l}} \right)}.} }} }
