Operations on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Graph Structures

Akram, Muhammad; Akmal, Rabia

2016 Fuzzy Information and Engineering

doi: 10.1016/j.fiae.2017.01.001

AbstractAn intuitionistic fuzzy graph structure (IFGS) is a generalization of an intuitionistic fuzzy graph. The concept of intuitionistic fuzzy graph structure is introduced and investigated in this paper. Some operations including union, join, Cartesian product, cross product, lexicographic product, strong product and composition on intuitionistic fuzzy graph structures are defined and elaborated with a number of examples. Some basic properties of these operations are also presented.

Some New Concepts of Fuzzy Soft Graphs

Al-Masarwah, Anas; Abu Qamar, Majdoleen

2016 Fuzzy Information and Engineering

doi: 10.1016/j.fiae.2017.01.003

AbstractIn this paper, we introduce some new concepts of fuzzy soft graphs with the notions of complement and -complement fuzzy soft graphs introduced. Investigating some of their properties, we show that the complement of strong fuzzy soft graph is strong fuzzy soft one as well as the complement of a complete fuzzy soft graph is complete fuzzy soft one. Finally, we state and prove some results related to these concepts.

On Weak and Strong Forms of Fuzzy Soft Open Sets

Hussain, Sabir

2016 Fuzzy Information and Engineering

doi: 10.1016/j.fiae.2017.01.005

AbstractWe introduce and examined some basic properties of fuzzy soft -open (closed) sets in fuzzy soft topological spaces. Fuzzy soft pre-open (closed) sets are also defined and discussed. We also initiate and explore fuzzy soft neighborhood at fuzzy soft point. Some properties of fuzzy soft neighborhood system, fuzzy soft basic neighborhood and fuzzy soft neighborhood (nbd) base at fuzzy soft point are studied. Moreover, we define and study fuzzy soft regular open (closed) sets. We analyze the relationship between these notions by providing examples and counter examples.

Economic Design of Multi-echelon Inventory System with Variable Lead Time and Service Level Constraint in a Fuzzy Cost Environment

Priyan, S.; Uthayakumar, R.

2016 Fuzzy Information and Engineering

doi: 10.1016/j.fiae.2017.01.006

AbstractNormally, human based industrial decision making involves both quantitative and qualitative input factors such as ordering cost, setup cost, etc. Thus the practitioners should be careful in accounting flexibility in the input factors. This paper optimizes an inventory system by employing mathematical model with variable lead time and service level constraint (SLC) in a fuzzy cost environment. Fuzziness is established by allowing the cost components imprecise and vague to certain extent. Trapezoidal and triangular fuzzy numbers are used to represent these characteristics. We also use signed distance method to defuzzify the fuzzy joint total expected cost and differential calculus optimization technique is adopted to find all optimal solutions to the model. Numerical results highlighting the sensitivity in the decision variables are also described.
