BURMAHCASTROL have developed a range of lubricants to combat the higher loads and temperatures now experienced in modern air compressors. Very high air discharge temperatures have become more common and air compressor fires and explosions represent an increasing risk. A dominant factor in reducing these hazards is the type and quality of lubricant used.

Skega's success in this field has been built up around the welltried Oring seal which is combined with a new type of support ring and guide ring, produced in a new material and protected by the Swedish Patent No 221178.

It is of some significance that Munich is adjacent to that Germanic part of Central Europe most productive of raw material especially suitable for graphite grease manufacture.
