Reviews 7 studies on memory, perception, protection, play, thinking, development of children, education and mental disorder in children. Reviews of 13 studies on the mental and physical development, mental disorders, mental level, intelligence and learning problems of exceptional and physically disabled children have also been presented. Five studies on speech problems such as stuttering, delayed speech development and lisping have been reviewed. 11 studies in areas like intelligence, emotions, religious beliefs and 21 experimental studies done on children have been also reviewed.

Experimental work on (1) various forms of mental activity like emotions, learning, memory,transfer of training, and reasoning, (2) educational problems like academic guidance, adolescence, characteristics of children, distribution and correlation of abilities, educational diagnosis, (3) elementary and high-school subjects like algebra, arithmetic, art and drawing, and biology, has been focused upon.

Reviews the book, Experimental Education by R. R. Rusk (1919). This volume is a new edition, completely revised and rewritten of the author's Introduction to Experimental Education. Like its predecessor it is admittedly based upon Meummann's Vörlesungen zur Einführung in die Expermentelle Pëdagogik although many references are made to our best American investigators. The work has been enlarged by the addition of three chapters including modern tendencies in considering the higher mental processes in children, the economy and technique of learning, and the psychology of additional school subjects.
