Reports on an innovation by the the Division of Clinical Psychology of the New York State Psychological Association to promote the dissemination of ongoing research information. The Research-in-Progress Program fills an important gap in scientific communication. It is an appropriate service effort of a state psychological association, with an impact beyond membership alone. Other groups are encouraged to adopt such a program with the ultimate goal of establishing national research-in-progress programs sponsored by the American Psychological Association.

Comments on an article by Jeffery which focuses on the psychologist as expert witness. In the commenting author's opinion, the abbreviated illustrations presented by Jeffery do not enlighten the issue of psychologist as expert witness. He suggests that a committee of clinical experts should be appointed to survey the entire field of psychological testimony before any other abbreviated transcripts of individual cases are presented.

Comments on an article by Roen that focused on training in behavioral science at the primary-grade level. The current author discusses the systematized text in mental health developed by Roen that teachers are learning in workshops and inservice training in order to teach to fifth grade students. The course has proved to be an intelligible, workable plan, and it is easily grafted onto the regular health course.

Comments on the article by Locke (American Psychologist, 1964, 19, pp. 846-847), and suggests that if determinism makes science impossible, we should now turn our attention to such important questions such as the number of angels that can dance on a pinhead.
