    2023 Annals of Operations Research

    doi: 10.1007/s10479-021-04291-xpmid: N/A

Abstract In order to meet the operational requirements of modern naval warfare, naval ships are equipped with growing types and quantities of weapons, but their overall combat effectiveness has not increased correspondingly. The reason is that different shipborne weapon systems have overlapping fields of fire on the relatively narrow ship platform, thus interfering with each other, which seriously endangers the ship safety. Therefore, it is critical to solve the major problem of firepower compatibility, namely, how to turn from increasing the firepower density of shipborne weapons to improving the strike-defense capabilities of the ship. Firepower compatibility is an important technology to give full play to the overall combat effectiveness of the weapon systems in the complex environment of the ship platform under the principle of ensuring the ship and crew safety. This paper summarizes the theoretical basis of the firepower compatibility technology of operations research, including the design of the intrinsic field of fire, fixed safety field of fire and active safety field of fire, and collates information about the development of the firepower compatibility technology for conventional weapons, such as firepower compatibility between conventional weapons and ship deck facilities, and firepower compatibility between conventional weapons. The firepower compatibility technology for conventional weapons contains four methods: firepower compatibility priority analysis, firepower conflict judgment for the satefty distance of vertically fired weapons, firepower conflict judgment for the safety distance of inclined revolving weapons and airspace resources occupation. The advantages and disadvantages of the above four operations research methods are compared and analyzed to obtain their commonalities and key points for improvement. In terms of the differences between the directed-energy weapons and conventional weapons, this paper introduces the technical characteristics and advantages of directed-energy weapons and compares the possible solutions to firepower compatibility of the two catagories of weapons. Then the key firepower compatibility technologies for directed-energy weapons are discussed and analyzed from three aspects: the construction of the cone of fire, firepower conflict judgment and dynamic firepower compatibility control. Finally, the paper points out the key and difficult problems in the firepower compatibility technology for directed-energy weapons, gives where research breakthroughs can be made in this area, and maps out the next development plan for this technology.

    2023 Annals of Operations Research

    doi: 10.1007/s10479-021-04301-ypmid: N/A

In order to build an intelligent financial management model, based on computer information technology, this paper studies the traditional model intelligent model of financial time series, and solves the problem of insufficient correlation of financial data characteristics. Aiming at the complex and changeable financial time series, this paper has a basic understanding of financial time series data and extracts two new data features. Moreover, this paper preprocesses the financial raw data, and then combines the extracted data features to generate a new combination of data features, which improves the correlation with the data. In addition, this paper combines the financial management process to construct a financial management model system that can be used for financial data processing and risk processing and analyzes the performance of the financial management model constructed in this paper. From the research point of view, it can be seen that the financial management model constructed in this paper has a certain practical effect.

RETRACTED ARTICLE: Artificial intelligence assisted Internet of Things based financial crisis prediction in FinTech environment

Pustokhina, Irina V.; Pustokhin, Denis A.; Mohanty, Sachi Nandan; García, Paulo Alonso Gaona; García-Díaz, Vicente

    2023 Annals of Operations Research

    doi: 10.1007/s10479-021-04311-wpmid: N/A

Financial Technology (FinTech) is treated as a distinctive taxonomy which majorly examines the financial technology sectors in a broader set of operations for enterprises by the use of Information Technology (IT) applications. Since the Internet of Things (IoT) is increasing tremendously, artificial intelligence (AI) assisted agile IoT is the way forward for sustainable finance. The deepness of the agile IoT has probably transformed the financial market today, and it may rapidly develop as a dominant tool in the future. The integration of AI and IoT techniques will considerably extract valued financial data and avail better services to the customers. One of the important concepts involved in FinTech is financial crisis prediction (FCP), which is a process of determining the financial status of a company. With this motivation, this paper designs a novel artificial intelligence assisted IoT based FCP (AIAIoT-FCP) model in the FinTech environment. The proposed AIAIoT-FCP model encompasses different stages such as data collection, data preprocessing, feature selection, and classification. At the primary stage, the financial data of the enterprises are collected by the use of the IoT devices such as smartphones and laptops. Besides, a chaotic Henry gas solubility optimization based feature selection (CHGSO-FS) technique is applied to select optimum features. In addition, a deep extreme learning machine (DELM) based classifier is used to determine the class labels of the financial data. Finally, the Nesterov-accelerated Adaptive Moment Estimation (NADAM) based hyperparameter optimizer of the DELM model is involved to boost the classification performance of the DELM model. An extensive simulation analysis is carried out on the benchmark financial dataset to highlight the betterment of the AIAIoT-FCP model. The resultant values portrayed the superior performance of the AIAIoT-FCP model over the state of art techniques in a considerable way.

RETRACTED ARTICLE: The influence and countermeasures of digital economy on cultivating new driving force of high-quality economic development in Henan Province under the background of "double circulation"

    Yu, Guo; Zhou, Xiaobo

    2023 Annals of Operations Research

    doi: 10.1007/s10479-021-04325-4pmid: 34744242

This article focuses on the impact of the digital economy on cultivating new driving force of high-quality economic development in Henan Province and the countermeasures under the background of the "double circulation". Through the research on the status quo of Henan Province's digital economy and high-quality economic development, it is concluded that since the reform and opening up, Henan Province has achieved rapid and steady development at the macroeconomic level. Since the reform and opening up, the output value of the three main industries in Henan Province has continued to grow and the industrial structure has continuously optimized. However, in the domestic horizontal comparison, the economic development of Henan Province has not yet formed a prominent advantage. Henan Province still needs to further optimize the economic development structure and promote high-quality economic development. Through the theoretical and empirical analysis of the digital economy's high-quality economic development in Henan Province under the background of the "double circulation", this project found that the development of the digital economy promotes the cultivation of new driving force of high-quality economic development in Henan Province under the background of the "double circulation". Henan Province needs to make full use of the development opportunities of the digital economy under the background of the "double circulation", and adopts a variety of comprehensive measures to take advantage of the situation to promote the high-quality development of the province's economy. The research of this project believes that under the background of "double circulation", Henan Province uses the digital economy to cultivate New driving force for high-quality economic development. Although certain results have achieved, some problems have exposed, mainly including the lagging foundation of using the digital economy to cultivate high-quality economic development. Failed to make full use of the digital economy to cultivate leading companies that promote high-quality economic development, the government has not fully adapted to the digital economy’s demand for cultivating new driving force of high-quality economic development, and companies lack the talents to use the digital economy to promote their own innovation and high-quality development. Further in-depth exploration found that the factors for the above problems mainly include not deeply the dual nature of production and consumption of digital infrastructure construction under the background of "double circulation", but ignoring the "pull the ox by the nose (grasp the key link)" status of leading enterprises in the cultivation of new driving force of high-quality economic development. The enthusiasm for the transformation of government functions and the adjustment of organizational structure is insufficient, and there are obstacles, and the introduction and training system of high-quality professionals in the field of digital economy is lacking. Through the mechanism analysis of the digital economy on the high-quality economic development of Henan Province under the background of the "double circulation", the analysis of development issues and causes combined with relevant literature analysis and field investigations. The project puts forward the use of digital in Henan Province Countermeasures for the economy to cultivate new driving force of high-quality economic development. Henan Province's digital infrastructure construction builds a solid foundation for high-quality economic development. The consumption upgrades as the engine used to cultivate a group of leading companies at the high end of the industrial value chain, improves the government support system, builds a support system for high-quality economic development in Henan Province, and strengthens the digital economy of enterprises by the use of professional talent team building.

RETRACTED ARTICLE: Cross-level impact of employees’ knowledge management competence and team innovation atmosphere on innovation performance

    Jing, Zhao; Cisheng, Wu

    2023 Annals of Operations Research

    doi: 10.1007/s10479-021-04328-1pmid: N/A

Based on the theories of corporate knowledge, competence and innovation, a conceptual model of the impact of employees’ knowledge management competence on the innovation performance is proposed from both individual and team levels. The multiple linear regression and cross-level linear analysis have been made for the impact of employees’ knowledge management competence and team innovation atmosphere on innovation performance, which proves that knowledge management competence will positively impact innovation performance. The study also found that team innovation atmosphere has a direct effect, instead of regulating effect, on the innovation performance. As a result, the cultivation of knowledge management competence at individual level and the creation of innovation atmosphere at team level should be emphasized, with knowledge management as an effective method, innovation competence as a driving force and innovation atmosphere as a background, so as to exert a lasting impact on innovation performance in a cross-level coordinated manner.

RETRACTED ARTICLE: Research and application of second-hand commodity price evaluation methods on B2C platform: take the used car platform as an example

    Zhang, Wangshu; Ma, Liping

    2023 Annals of Operations Research

    doi: 10.1007/s10479-021-04332-5pmid: N/A

Taking the business to customer used car trading platform as an example, two feature selection algorithms, namely, gradient boosting decision tree (GBDT) and Boruta, have been used for optimizing the support vector machine regression (SVR) model in order to explore efficient and accurate second-hand commodity price evaluation methods. On comparing the prediction accuracy of the original SVR model, the GBDT−SVR model, and the Boruta−SVR model, it has been found that the error between the price predicted by the Boruta−SVR model and the actual given price is the smallest among the three models. Thus, this model can provide an accurate evaluation of the prices of used cars. This method can also be extended to other second-hand goods by incorporating their respective attributes and the price evaluation link of the second-hand trading platform in the consumer to business to consumer model, which will help in improving the efficiency of the merchant price evaluation and the merchant evaluation process.
