Abstract: Leilani's Hibiscus was produced first by East West Players in Los Angeles in 1999 and later by Kumu Kahua Theatre in Honolulu in 2000. Katsunori Yamazato translated the play into Japanese, and this version was produced in Okinawa in 2001 and 2003, in Los Angeles in 2002, and in Tokyo in 2003.
