Baihurskii No qualified application for the 300 - 400~ straight-run cuts is sometimes found due to the significant concentration of sulfur and aromatic hydrocarbons and the high solid point. The quality indexes of the cut are reported in Table 1. Traditional solvent treatment, low-temperature dewaxing, and hydrotreating can be used for converting the cut into the basic components of lube oils. When low-temperature dewaxing is not part of the oil unit scheme, a nontraditional approach to solving the problem is possible. This solution consists of conducting TABLE 1 Hydrogenation product, obtained O t--. ~) in two in one reactors on reactor catalyst with O o) Indexes loading of 0J, 9 -~ .= 3 1 catalysts stage stage 3 and 1 I II by la~,ers Viscosity, mm2/sec at 20~ 18 18 17.5 18.1 <28 6.7 6.5 6 5.8 <9 at 50 ~ at 40~ 8 7.8 7.5 7.6 - Points, ~ flash (closed cup) 155 153 152 154 ~150 solid +2 -52
