Hydrocarbon source systems and formation of gas fields in Sichuan Basin The formation of large and middle gas fields in Sichuan Basin is investigated based on source wntrolling theory and hydrocarbon source systems. It is indicated that Є 1 , S l , P 1 , P 2 and T 3 are the main source beds and Є 1 /Z 2 d , C 2 h /S 1 , P 1 /P 2 , P 2 ch /P 2 , T 1,2 /P, T3 x /T3 x are important hydrocarbon source systems in the basin. All these source systems are the prospective formations and exploration spaces of large and middle gas fields. Abstract

The formation of large and middle gas fields in Sichuan Basin is investigated based on source wntrolling theory and hydrocarbon source systems.
