Swoboda G. von Preyer'sches Kinderspital der Stadt Wien Schrankenberggasse 31 A-1100 Vienna Austria Abstract The long term study of a boy with microgastria from birth to 6 years of age is presented. In addition to the anomaly of the stomach a dilatation of the oesophagus with gastro-oesophageal reflux, a nonrotation of the gut, and bilateral cryptorchidism were present. By adapting the food intake in a way appropriate to the capacity of the stomach, satisfactory development of the child was achieved.
