A Device for Preventing Foaming in Gas Chemisorption Treatment

A Device for Preventing Foaming in Gas Chemisorption Treatment This institute has developed efficient devices for dealing with excessive foaming in gas chemisorption cleaners. Foam suppressors of PL boat type are used to restrict the height of the foam layer arising from bubble plates, while VNIIUS–14 contact devices are used that operate in dispersed film mode to eliminate the physical origin of the foaming. Industrial checks have been performed on these equipments at various oil refineries. Existing absorbers can be extended or modified by the use of these devices in order to eliminate the use of foaming inhibitors, which require additional expense, and thus to improve the economic parameters of these gas treatment plants. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Chemistry and Technology of Fuels and Oils Springer Journals

Abstract

This institute has developed efficient devices for dealing with excessive foaming in gas chemisorption cleaners.
