Reflections on my lovely deafblind daughter
Abstract
A father reflects on the early years in the life of his deafblind daughter and on how he has come to understand the nature and consequences of her unusual condition. His interactions with professional workers in the medical and educational fields are described, and he touches on the needs of a family in a situation where one of the members is severely disabled.
