Metropolitan and Fiscal Policy: the Record of 40 Years
Abstract
These essays have emerged from a panel discussion presented at the 1984 meetings of the Association of Collegiate Schools of Planning, and convened to honor Harry Perloff's work and times. They seek to identify the successes and failures of US Urban Policy, and propose policy instruments which aim to foster progress in this area of public management. The essays raise issues which are pertinent to Urban Studies forthcoming special issue on US Urban Policy, and are published in this issue with the intention of prompting submissions.
