Abstract
From the Editor This issue completes the first year of my editorship of the Journal of Management. I would like to use this space to review the significant events that have occurred over the last year and to examine my progress with respect to the goals I set for Journal of Management when I accepted the editorship. One of my goals for the Journal of Management was to increase its visibility thorough Website development. As of today, one year after the Website was open to the public, we have received over 32,000 hits. Although the average hovers at 75 hits a day, the highest activity on a single day was 425 hits. It is also interesting to examine which article received the most attention. The top honor goes to Maureen L. Ambrose, University of Central Florida, and Carol T. Kulik, Univer- sity of Arizona, for their 1999 article entitled "Old Friends, New Faces: Motiva- tion Research in the 1990s" with a total of 302 hits. The Journal of Management's Webmaster continues to add new and exciting features to the Website. He is also open to suggestions you might have for adding new features or improving those that currently
