Abstract
De Computis on-line Revista Espahola de Historia de la Contabilidad Spanish Journal of Accounting History The first electronic journal dedicated to the history of accounting In recent years research on accounting history in Spain has increased considerably. For this reason, the AECA's Accounting History Commission has taken the initiative in producing a journal of accounting history in electronic edition that will be capable of publishing at least a substantial part of the most important work done in Spain in the future. The journal will be, however, also open to papers sent by researchers from all over the world. In addition to Spanish, De Computis will publish articles written in other widely-used languages, such as English, French, German, Italian and Portuguese. Given the ultimate goals of the journal, it will be free of charge, with no subscription fee. CALLING FOR PAPERS The new journal invites all researchers of accounting history on a worldwide scale to make it their own and to count on it as a vehicle to publish and divulge their works. De Computis will be open to receiving from any author, texts that could be included in any of its different sections: Doctrinal articles, News, Documentation, BibliographicalPreview Only.
