0 DIVISION 17 APA Division 17 Minutes of the Outgoing Executive Committee Meeting August 22, 1986 Washington, DC Members Present: George Gazda, Lyle Schmidt, Larry Brammer, Helen Farmer, Jan Birk, Leo Goldman, Norman Kagan, Henry Borow, Allen Ivey, Faith Tanney, Nancy Schlossberg, Clara Hill. Standing Committee Chairs Present: Kathleen Davis, Dave Dixon, Thomas Dowd, Paul King, John Westefeld, Anne Tobin-Ashe, John Dagley Guests Present: Nancy Forest, Stephanie Rude (1) President George Gazda opened the Executive Committee Meeting and welcomed all members, committee chairs and guests present. The results of the recent Division 17 election were announced: James Hurst, President, Elizabeth Altmaier, Treasurer, and Richard Suinn, Member-at-Large. (2) Nancy Forest, Program Officer, Governance and Divisional Affairs, APA Central Office, spoke briefly summarizing outcomes of the recent Division Leadership Conference. A new APA role has been created, Liaison for the Divisional Affairs Program Area, and Nancy Forest is the first person appointed to serve in that capacity. Also, Council has approved the Division Leadership Conference as an annual event. (3) The minutes were presented by Helen Farmer, Secretary, for the APA Division 17 January Midwinter Meeting, reviewed and approved.
