All registered nurses and healthcare assistants are eligible to enter themselves or their colleagues under any of a range of categories, including mental health, defence nursing, caring for children and care in the community. The nurse of the year will be chosen from the winners of the individual groups. The closing date for nominations is October 28 and winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Hilton Park Lane, London, on March 22 next year.
